We only ask for your email to sign up. We don't sell it, and other users only see it if you both confirm an exchange.
How information exchange works
- 1Browse Pawgift or Pawtrol sightings without sharing any contact details.
- 2Found something you want? Send a “Request to Exchange.” Once the other party accepts, your email addresses are shared between you both — only the two of you — so you can arrange the handover.
- 3Pawtrol sightings and Paw Talk posts are public, so only post what you’re happy for anyone to see.
- 4When an exchange is completed or cancelled, we remove the link between you. Anyone who has already seen your email may still have it, so only confirm exchanges you’re comfortable with.
We don't ask for your address, so please don't post it in listings or posts. Our moderators may use your email to contact you about your listings or account. Read our Privacy Policy for how we store and protect your data.
The short version
Browsing Pawgift, Pawtrol and Paw Talk doesn't need an account or any contact details. Signing in uses only your email address. When you and another member both confirm an exchange, that one person can see your email so you can arrange the handover.
